We are looking for an English Teacher to join a brand-new SEND school in Surrey.
This is a SEMH and ASC specialist school with a significant focus on outdoor curriculum in its huge area of outdoor and forest space. The school has been completely renovated and offers fantastic facilities. You will be part of a specialist teaching and therapy team that prides itself on its holistic support. The goal is to reignite a passion for learning and provide a safe and happy school where their pupils aged 7-16 can thrive and reach their full potential.

The Role

Lead and deliver engaging, accessible, and inspiring English curriculum pathways

Shape literacy strategy across the school and support colleagues with specialist approaches

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to adapt learning for students with unique communication and sensory profiles

Contribute to a nurturing, structured environment where students feel safe, understood, and empowered

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS

Passionate about inclusive education and adaptable teaching

Experience with Autism, SEND, or alternative provisions is highly beneficial

Confident leading curriculum development (for Lead applicants) or eager to grow into a leadership role
