Parker Smith Inclusion is looking for PMLD Learning Support Assistants to work in a specialist SEND school in Benfleet.
The school supports pupils aged 3–19 with complex needs, including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism and physical or sensory needs.
You'll be working alongside teachers and other support staff, helping pupils access learning, develop communication skills and build independence.
The role includes:

Providing 1:1 and small-group classroom support.

Helping pupils engage with learning and everyday activities.

Supporting communication, social skills and emotional needs.

Following individual support plans and guidance from teachers.

Providing personal care, including toileting, where required.
What we're looking for
Previous school-based experience is essential. You must also be comfortable providing personal care and supporting pupils with toileting.
You'll need to be patient, reliable and adaptable, with a calm approach, a good sense of humour and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Experience in a specialist SEND or complex needs setting would be an advantage.
