Salary: M1 – UPS3 Outer London Pay Scale + SEN Allowance

Not every child learns in the same way. As a PMLD Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to create meaningful learning experiences that recognise the individual strengths, needs and progress of every pupil.
Parker Smith Inclusion is working with a specialist school in Harrow that is looking for a passionate teacher to join its dedicated team.
Your role
You'll take responsibility for a class, planning and delivering learning that is carefully adapted to the needs of your pupils.
The role is varied and rewarding, combining teaching with communication, personal development, independence and preparation for adulthood.
You'll work alongside teaching assistants, therapists, families and other professionals to create a consistent and supportive approach around each pupil.
What you'll be doing

Plan and deliver personalised and differentiated lessons.

Adapt activities and teaching approaches to individual needs.

Monitor and assess pupil progress.

Lead and support your class team.

Create a calm, positive and engaging classroom environment.

Encourage communication, independence and social development.

Work closely with parents, carers and specialist professionals.

Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school development.

Support pupils as they progress through different stages of their education.
