The Post 16 SEN Teacher role
You will be teaching a class of 9 learners, most of whom follow a formal curriculum, there are a few learners in the class who are on a sensory pathway and as such curriculum needs to be adapted. The class has 3 teaching assistants all of whom are well equipped to deal with the minor behavioural needs that can present.
The class would benefit from a lively and proactive teacher who can keep the class engaged and inject fun into the classroom.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience working with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), SEND, or complex needs

Strong understanding of inclusive and therapeutic approaches to education

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning
