The Post 16 SEN Teacher role

You will be teaching a class of 9 learners, most of whom follow a formal curriculum, there are a few learners in the class who are on a sensory pathway and as such curriculum needs to be adapted. The class has 3 teaching assistants all of whom are well equipped to deal with the minor behavioural needs that can present.

The class would benefit from a lively and proactive teacher who can keep the class engaged and inject fun into the classroom.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated, forward-thinking team committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people with autism.
