Post-16 Learning Support Assistant – SEND Focus
Location: Havering (Post-16 Provision)
Pay: £90 - £100 (PAYE only)
Temp-to-Perm: Long-term, temp to perm opportunity
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed in a post-16 setting? A welcoming and inclusive post-16 provision is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work closely with students with a range of additional learning needs.
You’ll support students with autism, ADHD, social/emotional difficulties, speech and language needs, and other complex learning challenges, providing targeted learning support, helping develop independence, and enabling students to achieve their full potential. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a real difference for young people while gaining valuable post-16 SEND experience.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience supporting young people with SEND (post-16 experience desirable)

Confidence in delivering interventions and supporting learning for students with autism, ADHD, SLCN, and social/emotional needs

Strong communication, empathy, and patience

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
