Do you have experience supporting children with ASC? Do you have experience with PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) or would you be interested in training?
We are looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to support a pupils who has ASC behavioural needs and complex needs.
This mainstream primary school has a SEND provision that supports pupil from early years through to year 6 with a diagnosis of autism. The provision caters for children with severe and complex learning needs, including social communication differences. Many pupils also experience speech, language, and additional learning difficulties.
A range of structured approaches are used to support communication and learning, including visual communication systems and highly structured teaching methods embedded throughout the school day and curriculum.
This school is well known within the Tower Hamlets and has Primary & Secondary however this SEND provision is within EYFS & Primary, it is "outstanding" and will only consider professional, positive and reliable staff. For these particular roles I am seeking candidates that have experience of complex needs, SEN and are also happy to provide personal care.
