We are supporting a highly nurturing and inclusive specialist primary school in East London that is looking for a Primary Autism Teacher to join their dedicated team this September.

This is a setting where communication is celebrated in all its forms. Many pupils are pre-verbal and are supported through approaches such as PECS, Makaton and Core Boards. Learning is personalised, engaging and designed to help every child thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The school believes that curiosity should be encouraged, differences should be celebrated and every child should feel safe, valued and understood. Staff work collaboratively to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire pupils to explore, communicate and develop confidence in themselves.

The ideal teacher will:

• Hold QTS
• Have experience teaching pupils with Autism and additional needs, or be eager to transition into SEND education
• Be creative, adaptable and reflective
• Value communication in all its forms
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
• Be passionate about helping every child reach their potential
