Primary Learning Support Assistant - Hillingdon
£90 to £100 per day PAYE
Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM
Full-time, long-term contract (permanent upon review)

We are working with an all-through specialist school based in Uxbridge, Hillingdon who are looking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in a mixed primary class.
The role focuses on providing support to students with Autism and additional learning needs across KS1, helping them access the curriculum while managing their behaviour. You will play a vital role in their personal and academic development.
The role:
- Providing support for students with Autism across KS1
- Incorporate the use of visual aids and demonstrate strategies to maintain focus and encourage engagement
- Address challenging behaviours effectively but implementing behavioural strategies
- Work alongside teachers, therapists, and the wider SEN team to support student progress
- Contribute to creating a secure, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate:
- Experience supporting children or young people with special needs in a professional or personal capacity
- A strong passion for pursuing a career within special needs
- A calm, patient, and positive approach, with a proactive mindset towards supporting learning
- Able to commit to full-time hours, Monday to Friday from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM
- Reliable and dedicated to a long-term position where consistency and continuity are valued
