Are you a nurturing and passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children who have struggled in mainstream education?
We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a specialist nurture primary setting supporting pupils who have been excluded from mainstream schools or are currently non-attenders. Working within a therapeutic education framework, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment where pupils can thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
- Deliver a nurturing curriculum in line with therapeutic education principles
- Support neurodiverse learners through differentiated teaching approaches
- Monitor progress and contribute to Individual Education and Behaviour Plans
- Work closely with Therapeutic Education Practitioners and the Senior Leadership Team
- Promote positive behaviour through consistent encouragement and support
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEND, SEMH, or vulnerable pupils
- Strong understanding of nurturing and inclusive teaching approaches
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning
