Could you be the consistent adult who helps a child feel safe, supported and ready to learn?

A welcoming mainstream primary school in Kingsbury, NW9 is looking for a Pupil Inclusion Mentor to support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and EHCPs.

This is a relationship-led role for someone who is patient, emotionally aware and passionate about helping children build confidence and independence.

The Role

You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to provide consistent support throughout the school day.

You will:

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

  • Support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and EHCPs

  • Help pupils manage transitions, routines and changes

  • Recognise and respond to signs of dysregulation

  • Encourage engagement, confidence and independence

  • Support positive behaviour and access to learning

  • Work with staff to maintain consistent strategies

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable

  • Patient, calm and emotionally intelligent

  • Confident setting clear, consistent boundaries

  • Reliable and genuinely passionate about working with children

  • Experience in schools, youth work, sports coaching or mentoring is welcome

  • Education, psychology or youth work backgrounds are advantageous but not essential

  • A genuine interest in building a career in SEND, education or pastoral support

What You Get

  • £95–£105 per day PAYE

  • Monday–Friday, full-time

  • Term time only

  • September 2026 start
