Are you seeking a rewarding role supporting a SEND student as a SEND Teaching Assistant with the additional training provided?
We are working with a fantastic mainstream primary school in the South London area of Southwark to find a Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs such as autism. Within this rewarding role, you will work with a team of LSA / Teaching assistants, working with students on a 1:1 and 1:2 basis.
The school has amazing facilities with flowing open-plan classrooms, an outdoor classroom with a garden and chickens, and rooms dedicated to music with various instrument options for the students to learn. They also have a dance room and half options for staff to do breakfast and afterschool club for additional income. The school also offer training in PECS and Makaton alongside offering some of its staff teacher training, which makes this an amazing opportunity for those considering a career in teaching.
