About the Role
A specialist primary school in North West London is looking for an Early Career Teacher to join its team. This is an opportunity to begin your teaching career in a setting built entirely around the needs of its pupils, with small class sizes, a high staff to pupil ratio, and a therapeutic, relationship led approach to learning.
You will teach primary aged pupils with a range of complex needs, supported throughout by a structured ECT induction programme designed specifically for specialist education.
Responsibilities
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to small groups of pupils Assessing pupil progress continuously and adapting teaching in response Building trusting, consistent relationships with pupils as a foundation for learning Working alongside support staff and therapy colleagues to deliver a joined up approach Taking part in whole school training and collaborative planning Developing specialist practice with the guidance of experienced mentors
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status, or awaiting formal ECT registration No prior experience in a specialist setting required A genuine passion for primary education and inclusive practice A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach to teaching A commitment to ensuring every child makes meaningful progress
Salary and Benefits
This role is paid on the Inner London payscale as a PAYE daily rate of £213.99 to £259.83, with no umbrella companies involved. You will receive a fully structured ECT induction, dedicated CPD in SEN approaches, and ongoing mentoring from experienced specialist teachers.
