About the School
Parker Smith Inclusion is delighted to be supporting an outstanding special primary school in Watford in their search for a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join their nurturing team from January 2026.
This inclusive school provides a highly supportive learning environment for children aged 4–11 with a range of complex learning difficulties, developmental needs and additional challenges. The school’s creative and holistic approach ensures that every pupil can achieve, grow and thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role
As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in helping every child reach their full potential through creative, engaging and individualised teaching. You will work with a small class of pupils, supported by experienced Learning Support Assistants, and collaborate closely with parents, carers and external professionals to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP outcomes

Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress

Promoting independence, confidence and positive behaviour in the classroom

Leading and supporting LSAs, fostering their professional growth

Contributing to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives

Building strong relationships with parents, carers and multi-agency professionals

Supporting enrichment activities such as PE, swimming and school trips
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
-
Experienced in teaching children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Compassionate, patient and creative, with a child-centred approach

Skilled in communication, organisation and teamwork
-
Committed to continuous professional learning and development
