Are you a teacher ready for a new challenge in January? With resignation deadlines approaching, now is the perfect time to secure your next role in a truly inspiring special school.
We are working with a special primary school in Havering that provides a nurturing, child-centred environment for pupils with a wide range of additional needs. Here, every small step forward is celebrated, whether it’s a smile, a word, or a moment of shared learning.
This role is about teaching with patience, creativity, and care, supporting children with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.
What makes this special school stand out?
-
Child-first approach – Learning is shaped around pupils’ needs, not targets and paperwork.
-
Specialist support – Work alongside skilled TAs, therapists, and a collaborative leadership team who understand SEND inside out.
-
Professional growth – Ongoing CPD tailored to your needs, whether you’re experienced in special schools or moving into SEND for the first time.
-
Inclusive community – Staff, parents, and specialists work hand-in-hand to support every child’s journey.
We’re looking for someone who:
-
Holds QTS (or equivalent).
-
Can adapt lessons so that every child can access learning and thrive.
-
Understands behaviour as communication.
-
Finds joy in progress, however small.
In return, you’ll receive:
-
A permanent, full-time role in a supportive special school.
-
Outer London MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance.
-
Specialist training and development opportunities.
-
Daily support from experienced SEND professionals.
-
A trusted career partner in Parker Smith Inclusion.
We look forward to hearing from you and supporting you in finding a role where you can make a real difference in the lives of children.
