I am supporting a brilliant specialist SEN school in Brent that provides a safe, creative, and truly nurturing environment for children with Autism (ASC) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school celebrates individuality, emotional growth, and small everyday victories that make a lifelong impact.
The Role
As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will
- Teach KS2 students
- Plan creative lessons that meet each pupil at their level and help them rediscover the joy of learning
- Create a calm, inclusive classroom where trust and curiosity thrive
- Work closely with therapists, support staff, and families, because progress happens through teamwork
- Help pupils develop not only academically, but also emotionally and socially
- Be part of a forward-thinking school that values creativity, wellbeing, and genuine relationships
Who I am looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching or supporting pupils with Autism and/or SEMH
- Patience, creativity, and emotional intelligence, the ability to turn small steps into big successes
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to reflective, child-centred teaching
