£194.20 to £258.84 (MPS1 - MPS6) per day PAYE
Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM

A specialist primary school based in Hayes, Hillingdon are seeking to appoint an experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join their school for the summer term. For the right candidate, the school will consider an earlier start. This is an opportunity to work in an inclusive setting where each student is provided personalised curriculums to drive their performance. This will be a full-time, long-term position till the end of the academic year. Upon review, there will be an opportunity to go permanent. Dependent on your pay scale, the pay will range from MPS1 to MPS6 outer London. The school may consider UPS for the right candidate, but you must demonstrate the right qualities.
The role:
- Lead a mixed KS2 class of students from Year 4 to Year 6
- Able to teach to EYFS/KS1 standards as students are working behind their expected ability level
- Confident in adapting curriculum teaching to provide a personalised teaching tailored to students
- Be able to create a structured, nurturing classroom environment
- Managed Teaching Assistants and delegate tasks efficiently throughout the school day
- Work closely with Class Teachers, Therapists and the wider SEN team to aid development
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching students with Autism, associated learning needs and complex needs
- A flexible, reflective and creative teaching approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine commitment to inclusive education
