£90 to £100 per day PAYE

Are you looking to be part of a large and inclusive primary school based in the heart of Hillingdon. We are working alongside a 3 form primary school based in Ruislip, Hillingdon who are looking to appoint a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to work in their mainstream classes supporting students with Autism and ADHD. You will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis who need additional support when accessing mainstream education.
This will be a full-time position starting immediately on a long-term basis. The duration will be till the end of the academic year but for the right candidate, there will be an opportunity to go permanent in September 2026. The daily rate will vary between £90 to £100 depending on your experience. This is a great opportunity for a Graduate or someone who is looking to start their career in education supporting students with special needs.
The role:
- Provide individualised 1:1 support tailored to each students learning and communication needs
- Implement consistent routines and visual aids to encourage engagement and participation
- Support pupils with sensory regulation and promote positive behaviour strategies
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and the wider SEN team to support student development
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
The ideal candidate:
- Professional or personal experience working with students with Autism and/or ADHD
- Keen to develop knowledge of sensory processing and behaviour support approaches
- Patient, calm and positive, with a proactive mindset when supporting students
- Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM
- Reliable and committed to a long-term position where consistency is essential
