A specialist SEN primary school in Cricklewood is seeking a dedicated Primary SEND Teacher to join their team. This is a full time long term opportunity with the potential to become permanent.

This well established autism specialist setting is designed to support pupils who require a more structured and nurturing learning environment. The school offers small class sizes typically five to six pupils, high staff to pupil ratios and low arousal autism friendly classrooms. The Role Primary SEND Teacher
As a Primary SEND Teacher you will lead a small class of pupils with autism across EYFS to KS2 levels. You will plan and deliver differentiated personalised lessons linked to EHCP outcomes and adapt the primary curriculum to meet a wide range of needs. You will create a calm structured and predictable classroom environment and work closely with experienced Teaching Assistants and SEN staff. The role includes supporting communication emotional regulation and independence while monitoring and celebrating small step progress.
Requirements
To be considered for this Primary SEND Teacher role you will need Qualified Teacher Status QTS and a valid TRN along with a minimum of two years experience supporting pupils with SEND. You should have strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum EYFS KS1 and KS2 and experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition ASC. A calm patient and adaptable teaching style is essential alongside strong behaviour management and relationship building skills.
