Make a Difference in a SEMH School
Are you a qualified teacher with experience supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
Parker Smith Inclusion is working in partnership with a welcoming primary SEMH school in Epping Forest that is seeking a Primary Teacher to join their specialist provision. In this role, you will lead a small class of pupils, supported by two Teaching Assistants, delivering structured, nurturing, and engaging learning tailored to meet each child’s individual needs.
The school is well resourced and offers a highly supportive working environment, with a Headteacher who places strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, ensuring every member of the team feels valued and supported. It is a friendly, inclusive school with a strong sense of community.
The Role

Lead a class within a specialist SEMH setting for pupils aged 4–11

Work closely with two experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils’ learning, emotional regulation, and development

Deliver engaging lessons using structured, trauma-informed, and relationship-led approaches

Support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs to help them access learning successfully

Participate in ongoing professional development to further enhance your skills and expertise
