KS2 Teacher – Autism Resource Provision - Lambeth

Our South East team is currently recruiting for an exceptional KS2 Teacher to join a highly regarded mainstream primary school in Lambeth with a long-established Autism Resource Provision.
This is not your typical SEND teaching role. The Year 5/6 pupils within the provision are bright, verbal and academically able, following the KS2 National Curriculum in a structured, supportive environment. The school is looking for an experienced Primary teacher who can deliver ambitious, high-quality lessons while adapting their teaching to meet the individual needs of autistic learners.
You'll be teaching a class of approximately 10 pupils, supported by four experienced Teaching Assistants and an excellent SEND leadership team, allowing you to focus on what matters most, outstanding teaching.

We're looking for teachers who:
- Have successful experience teaching Key Stage 2
- Are confident delivering the National Curriculum while adapting lessons to meet individual SEND needs
- Have high expectations of every pupil and excellent behaviour management skills
- Build positive, consistent relationships with children
- Are passionate about inclusive education and helping pupils achieve their full academic potential
Previous experience in an Autism Resource Provision or specialist SEND setting is welcomed, but it's not essential. The school is equally keen to hear from strong mainstream KS2 teachers looking to specialise in SEND without stepping away from curriculum-focused teaching.
