Do you have experience with students with SEMH?
I am working with an Inspiring Pupil Referral Unit, that are looking for a Teaching Assistant, their focus is on nurturing and supporting their students with SEMH to help them become confident adults with a real sense of purpose. This role is with their Secondary students. They have a small community of students and staff which feels like a real family environment. This setting is part of a highly respected, Multi Academy Trust rated Outstanding by Ofsted, their ethos is every young person should have the opportunity to the best possible chance at an education.
What we are looking for in a Teaching Assistant-
- Experience of working with young people with SEMH and challenging behaviour
- A caring, compassionate and empathetic approach
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
- Resilience and able to work well in challenging situations
