PRU Teacher - Greenwich

£200 - £320 per day - Long Term Contract

Date Posted: Friday 22 May 2026

As a teacher, you want to make a genuine difference to the young people in front of you, but sometimes, mainstream education can make it difficult to deliver the level of support, patience, and flexibility that some students truly need. This is an opportunity to teach in a setting where relationships come first.

Across PRU and alternative provisions in Greenwich, there is a growing need for resilient and compassionate teachers who can support students who may have experienced barriers within education, including SEMH needs, trauma, exclusion, or disrupted school experiences. These are students who need consistency, understanding, and adults who won’t give up on them.

As a PRU Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging and highly personalised lessons to students working across a range of abilities and learning pathways.

Smaller class sizes allow you to focus on building trust, adapting learning, and creating an environment where students feel safe enough to re-engage with education.

No two days are ever the same, but the impact you have can be life-changing.

For many students, the right teacher can completely change how they see school and themselves.

Why Parker Smith Inclusion?

We understand that every PRU setting is different. We take the time to match teachers with schools in Greenwich where they’ll feel supported, valued, and able to make a real difference.

Working within alternative provision is challenging, rewarding, and incredibly important, because sometimes, the young people who need the most support are the ones who make the biggest progress when given the right environment.
