Position: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: £20496 - £26,000 (Depending on Experience & Qualifications)

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking specialist school in West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive team in a school that prioritises the individual progress and wellbeing of every student.
We have a close relationship with the SLT at this school and are looking to organise interviews ASAP.
About the School:
This specialist setting caters to pupils aged 5–19 with ASC, ADHD, and SEMH, providing tailored education and comprehensive support to help every student succeed. The school environment is warm, structured, and collaborative, offering both academic and therapeutic learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.

Assist teachers in planning and delivering personalised learning.

Support the emotional and social development of students.

Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and behaviour specialists.

Help create an inclusive, encouraging, and safe learning environment.

About You:

Experience working with children or young people with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH (essential)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Psychology Degree, Youth Work) are desirable but not essential
