A welcoming primary school in Harrow is looking for a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will support pupils with autism (ASC), SEMH, and trauma related needs, working closely with teachers, the SENCO, and therapists in a school that genuinely prioritises inclusion, wellbeing, and professional development.
This role is ideal for psychology graduates looking to take their first step into education, therapy, or mental health, and would also suit those exploring careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or SEN teaching.
About the role
• Support pupils with autism, SEMH, and complex additional needs
• Build strong, consistent relationships that help pupils feel safe and ready to learn
• Deliver 1 to 1 and small group interventions focused on communication, regulation, and engagement
• Apply trauma informed strategies to support behaviour and emotional development
• Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to support EHCP targets
• Adapt resources and approaches to meet a wide range of learning needs

• Psychology graduates or related degrees such as Criminology or Sociology
