Psychology Graduate SEND Opportunity
Havering | September 2026 Start
Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunities

If you've recently completed a Psychology degree and you're wondering what comes next, spending time in a school can give you an understanding that lectures and textbooks simply can't.

We're working with a range of schools across Havering, including mainstream primary and secondary schools, specialist SEND schools, SEMH settings and alternative provisions. These roles are ideal for graduates who want to gain practical experience supporting children and young people with additional needs while exploring future careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Teaching, Counselling or Social Work.

You'll work closely with pupils both in and out of the classroom, either one-to-one or in small groups. The children and young people you support may have autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, moderate or severe learning difficulties, or more complex needs.

Every day brings something different. You'll help pupils access learning, support their communication, encourage emotional regulation and build the kind of trusting relationships that help children feel secure and confident in school. You'll also work alongside teachers, SENCOs, therapists and pastoral teams, giving you valuable insight into how different professionals support children within education.

These roles suit graduates who are curious, patient and keen to learn. Previous SEND experience isn't essential. Schools are looking for people with the right attitude, a willingness to get involved and a genuine interest in supporting children and young people.

At Parker Smith Inclusion, we work exclusively within SEND education. We take the time to understand what you're looking for and introduce you to schools where you'll have the opportunity to learn, develop and gain meaningful experience. We focus on long-term opportunities and honest conversations, helping you find a role that fits your career goals rather than simply placing you into the first vacancy.

When you register with us, you'll have access to a variety of SEND opportunities across Havering, transparent PAYE pay with no hidden deductions, interview guidance, ongoing support from a dedicated consultant and opportunities for further training and long-term career progression.

If you're looking for experience that will strengthen your future career while making a positive difference to children's lives, we'd love to hear from you.

Please send your CV to elisha@psinclusion.co.uk or call 0203 011 4848 for an informal conversation.
