£450 - £475 PAYE per week, weekly payment

Are you a Psychology graduate looking for experience in a special education environment? Do you care about neurodiversity, communication, and understanding behaviour in real life?

This might be the chance you’ve been waiting for.

We’re looking for a Psychology Graduate to join a specialist all-through SEND school. You will support children and young people aged 4 to 19 with Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This is a long-term, full-time job where you will work with various age groups, with training and development starting from day one.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting children aged 4 to 19 in a classroom setting, from Early Years to Post-16.
  • Working as part of a team to give tailored, meaningful support to pupils with complex needs.
  • Helping pupils with communication, sensory regulation, mobility, and personal care.
  • You need to be confident in the water to assist in hydrotherapy and swimming sessions.
  • Learning from experienced teachers, therapists, and school leaders in a high-quality SEND setting.

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • A genuine interest in SEND and a possible future in education, psychology, therapy, or care.
  • Compassion, resilience, and a proactive approach.
  • Experience with children or young people with additional needs is a plus, but not required.

This role is ideal for graduates seeking hands-on experience before pursuing careers in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or Teaching.
