Salary: £35,600–£48,500 per annum plus SEN allowance (indicative, dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Qualified Teacher for a specialist school in Benfleet, supporting pupils aged 3–19 with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.
The role involves adapting the curriculum to suit individual pupils, helping them develop their skills and communication, and supporting progress at their own pace.
The role includes:

Planning and delivering lessons tailored to pupils' needs.

Adapting the curriculum to different abilities and learning styles.

Supporting communication, sensory development and independence.

Setting learning goals and monitoring progress.

Working closely with LSAs and other professionals.

Creating a safe, supportive classroom where pupils can thrive.
Who we're looking for
You'll ideally have QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience in PMLD, SLD or complex needs settings would be beneficial, but teachers from other SEND or specialist backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
You'll need to be patient, adaptable and confident finding different ways to engage pupils and support their development.
