We are looking for a Residential Care Officer to join a truly exceptional team. With small class sizes, shared mealtimes, and dedicated residential support, this school is a place where staff and students thrive together.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting individual students with their social, emotional and behavioural development

Creating a secure yet stimulating environment that supports both education and leisure

Offering guidance on life skills – from hygiene and relationships to household routines

Accompanying children to appointments and activities – such as doctor visits, shopping or community outings

Monitoring student wellbeing and contributing to reports and observations

Working within small, homely residential houses where children live Monday–Friday in customised spaces that promote independence

Encouraging engagement in evening activities like swimming, cinema, bowling and sports

Supporting students in accessing top-quality facilities including a music studio, swimming pool, and even an on-site farm
