Are you looking for a new opportunity teaching with a Autism Resource Provision and helping develop it within a mainstream school?
We are working with a fantastic school in Southwark to find a SEN Teacher to lead a class within an autism provision within a mainstream primary school. Within this role you will be teaching a class of up to 8 students whilst supported by multiple SEN TAs. There are two classes within the ARP and the class you will be teaching consists of students who all have autism, with some students having sensory needs and being non-verbal too. The students are learning mainly at KS1 stage, but ages do vary across both KS1 and KS2.
The school offers training in addition the ability to be a critical part of the ARP and potentially manage it in the future. The school is very supportive with friendly staff and SLT which truly cares for the staff as well as the students. So, if this sounds like a role you would be interested in, why not apply today?
