We are working with a nurturing and forward-thinking SEN school in Enfield seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September. This is an incredible opportunity to teach in a setting where every small breakthrough is celebrated, relationships matter and staff genuinely change lives every day.
You will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 to pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and associated learning differences. Lessons are tailored, creative and designed to engage learners who may have previously struggled in mainstream environments.
The school is looking for someone who can bring energy, patience and adaptability into the classroom, creating a safe and structured environment where students can thrive both academically and emotionally.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
- Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with SEN
- Build strong, positive relationships with young people
- Be calm, resilient and flexible in their approach
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
