We are working with a mainstream secondary school in North London seeking experienced and passionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join their team. At this school, pupil progress is a top priority, and the dedicated SEND team works collaboratively to support students with complex needs, including EHCPs, SEMH challenges, Autism, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
In this role, you will support pupils across the secondary school, providing 1:1 and small group support. The successful candidate will have prior experience supporting pupils with SEND, including those with EHCPs, SEMH needs, Autism, dyslexia, or other learning difficulties, and will be skilled in behaviour management strategies.
.The Role:
- Support pupils with diverse SEND needs in lessons and around the school.
- Assist in implementing personalised learning plans and interventions.
- Work closely with teachers, SENDCo, and external professionals to track pupil progress.
- Contribute to positive behaviour management and nurture pupils’ social and emotional development.
- Participate in training opportunities to enhance your SEND knowledge and professional growth.
