Parker Smith Inclusion is delighted to be partnering with a brand-new SEMH, trauma-informed school in Harlow. We are looking for passionate and committed Secondary Teachers to join this exciting new provision, supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is a truly special opportunity to work in a nurturing, highly supportive environment where small class sizes allow you to build meaningful relationships and provide personalised support. The school places a strong emphasis on helping every pupil to flourish academically, socially and emotionally.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching and supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 within small, well-supported classes
  • Creating inclusive, engaging and structured learning environments tailored to individual needs
  • Adapting your teaching approach to support a range of learning styles and behavioural needs
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs and those who may have experienced trauma
  • Building positive, trusting relationships that encourage confidence, engagement and wellbeing

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting young people with additional needs
  • Creativity and flexibility in adapting teaching strategies to suit each individual
  • A calm, resilient and compassionate approach

This role offers the chance to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of young people, within a school that values collaboration, care and pupil wellbeing at its heart.

If you’re ready for a rewarding new challenge in a specialist SEMH setting, we’d love to hear from you.
