Are you a passionate, resilient and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity?
We are working with an inclusive and welcoming secondary school in East London that is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
You will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum, build confidence and develop their independence.
What you'll be doing:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.

Supporting pupils to access lessons and learning activities.

Helping implement individual support and behaviour plans.

Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils.

Supporting literacy, numeracy and wider learning programmes.

Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour.

Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team.

Creating a calm, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
We're looking for:

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.

A patient, nurturing and proactive approach.

Someone who can build strong relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
