SEMH Behaviour Mentor
Enfield
Specialist SEMH Setting
Some young people don’t need someone to manage their behaviour, they need someone who understands it.
We are working with a specialist SEMH school in Enfield seeking a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support students who may have experienced trauma, disrupted education, or emotional challenges.
This role is centred around building trust, creating consistency, and helping young people feel safe enough to re-engage with learning. You will support pupils throughout the school day, helping them regulate emotions, build confidence, and develop positive routines.
The Role
- Support students with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Help students regulate emotions and engage with learning
- Support within lessons, interventions, and pastoral spaces
- Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience supporting SEMH, SEND, or vulnerable young people
- May come from youth work, mentoring, coaching, or support work
- Is calm, resilient, and emotionally intelligent
- Can build positive relationships while maintaining boundaries
- Wants to make a genuine difference in young people’s lives
This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a therapeutic and relationship-led environment where every interaction matters. Please contact Katie at Parker Smith Inclusion on 0203 011 4848, or you can apply to this advert.
