We're working with an outstanding specialist SEMH provision in Brent looking for a Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, many of whom also have Autism and ADHD.
The school provides a therapeutic, nurturing environment with small class sizes, excellent staff support and a strong focus on helping every pupil develop emotionally, socially and academically.
Your role:
✅ Build positive relationships with pupils with SEMH needs
✅ Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
✅ Encourage engagement with learning throughout the school day
✅ Work closely with teachers and therapeutic professionals
✅ Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Has experience in SEMH, SEND, youth work, residential care or alternative provision
✔ Understands that behaviour is communication
✔ Is patient, resilient and calm under pressure
✔ Builds positive relationships with young people
✔ Wants to make a genuine difference every day
