A specialist setting have a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a SEMH Learning Support Assistant! This school supports KS1 and KS2 children with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. Each class accommodates up to 10 children with plenty of nurturing support from the class Teacher, a HLSA and other Learning Support Assistants.
This school understands the importance of education, but also the gap that comes with supporting children with SEMH in education. The school is dedicated to changing this narrative by creating a flourishing environment for these pupils, by providing a provision that prepares them for life beyond school and creating meaningful steps for change. The curriculum offers enriching opportunities tailored to each child’s development and led with the principles of warmth, nurture and structure.
