SEMH Learning Support Assistant

Well, Parker Smith Inclusion is grateful to be partnering with a dedicated SEMH school where every pupil is valued and treated with respect. Not only are they in a fantastic location, but they offer a curriculum designed to reawaken interest in learning for each pupil. They support both autism and SEMH pupils between the ages of 7 and 16 years old across two sites.
This provision is currently seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to make an impact within their team. Within this role, you will be working alongside small classes made up of 6 to 8 pupils and a SEN teacher allowing the pupils access to more tailored learning to suit their individual needs. When helping the teacher, you may help integrate programmes to provide therapeutic interventions.
As an LSA, you will help support the class teacher and help support the pupils with their learning and engagement. You will also strive to create a nurturing and calm environment, allowing the pupils to have a safe space to go to.
