A welcoming and expanding specialist SEMH school in Richmond is looking for a dedicated and resilient Nurture Teacher to join their team in September. About the Nurture Teacher Role:
- Deliver creative and differentiated lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEMH, Autism, and ADHD
- Teach in small class groups of 8 students, each supported by two Teaching Assistants
- Foster strong relationships and a therapeutic learning environment
- Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to meet students’ academic and emotional needs
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience teaching or working with children with SEND, particularly those with SEMH, Autism, or ADHD
- Calm, patient, and nurturing approach to teaching
- Confident in managing behaviour in a trauma-informed, attachment-aware setting
- Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) or experienced unqualified teachers are encouraged to apply
- Teacher training and CPD provided for unqualified teachers with relevant experience
