Outreach English Teacher
East London
Permanent | Full Time
Are you an English Teacher looking for a role where relationships come before results?
We are supporting a highly regarded therapeutic education service that works with some of London's most vulnerable and complex young people. This specialist provision supports pupils with SEMH, ASC and associated additional needs who are unable to access traditional education settings.
The service takes a highly personalised and therapeutic approach, helping young people rebuild trust, confidence and engagement with education. Through consistent support, specialist interventions and meaningful relationships, pupils are given the opportunity to re-engage with learning and achieve positive long-term outcomes.
As an Outreach English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons within community-based learning environments across East London. Working alongside Therapeutic Mentors and SEND specialists, you will support small groups of pupils who require an alternative approach to education.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking to move away from the constraints of mainstream education and into a setting where creativity, flexibility and relationship-based practice are genuinely valued.
