Outreach English Teacher – Help Rebuild Trust in Education
📍 East London
📚 English Teacher
🌟 Therapeutic Outreach Provision
Have you ever felt that mainstream education doesn't always give you enough time to support the pupils who need you most?
This could be the role you've been looking for.
We are supporting an innovative therapeutic education service that works with some of the most vulnerable young people in London. Many pupils have SEMH, ASC and associated additional needs, alongside experiences of trauma, exclusion, anxiety or significant periods out of education.
The service believes that relationships come first. Before learning can happen, trust must be rebuilt. That's why education takes place within small groups and community-based learning spaces, supported by specialist Therapeutic Mentors and SEND professionals.
As an Outreach English Teacher, you won't be managing large classes or teaching purely for exam outcomes. Instead, you'll play a key role in helping young people reconnect with education, develop confidence and begin to see a positive future for themselves.
