Salary: M1 to UPS (dependent on experience and qualifications)

The Role
As an SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting pupils in Years 7 to 11, delivering engaging and purposeful lessons tailored to meet their individual needs.
Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging and effective lessons adapted to support students with SEMH needs

Creating a supportive, structured and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic, social and emotional development

Building positive relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress

Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to provide holistic support
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, but not essential

A genuine passion for working with young people with SEMH needs

The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning and behavioural needs

Strong communication, resilience and interpersonal skills
