Make a Difference in a Specialist SEMH School
Are you a qualified teacher with experience supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
Parker Smith Inclusion is working with a fantastic SEMH school in Harlow, seeking a dedicated Teacher to join their specialist provision. You will teach a small group of pupils, supported by experienced teaching assistants, delivering tailored and engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of each learner.
The school is highly supportive, well-resourced, and led by a headteacher who prioritises staff wellbeing and professional development. It is a friendly, inclusive environment where every team member is genuinely valued.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading lessons for pupils with SEMH needs across primary or secondary phases
- Working closely with teaching assistants to provide individualised support and guidance
- Adapting lessons so they are engaging, therapeutic and suited to pupils’ developmental and emotional needs
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, confidence building and social skills
- Taking part in ongoing professional development to further your SEMH expertise

- A qualified teacher with experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
- Patient, empathetic and resilient, with the ability to manage challenging behaviour
- A strong communicator able to build trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping every pupil succeed
