The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Primary Teacher to deliver personalised, meaningful learning for pupils with additional needs.

This role goes beyond traditional classroom teaching, with a strong focus on nurturing the whole child. You will create a structured yet flexible learning environment that supports emotional regulation, builds confidence, and helps pupils re-engage with education in a positive way.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching a primary class, adapting lessons to meet a range of individual needs
  • Creating engaging and differentiated learning experiences that support both academic and emotional development
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may have faced challenges in education
  • Supporting behaviour positively through consistency, structure and empathy
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and a renewed love of learning
  • Working closely with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
