Location: Hounslow
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: Qualified Teachers (QTS): £194– £258 per day
Unqualified Teachers: £115 – £160 per day (experience dependent)

Parker Smith Inclusion are working with a specialist provision in Hounslow who are seeking a committed SEMH Teacher to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, many of whom may also have additional diagnoses such as ADHD, ASD, or PTSD.
Whether you are a qualified teacher or an unqualified educator with experience in SEND, youth work, or alternative provisions, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
- Deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum with a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach
- Support students aged 11–16 with SEMH needs
- Build positive and trusting relationships, creating a safe and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and external agencies to meet individual needs
- Contribute to a nurturing school culture where every young person feels valued and understood
We’re Looking For
- Qualified teachers (QTS/QTLS), or unqualified educators with relevant experience (e.g. HLTA, learning mentor, youth worker, support worker)
- A genuine passion for inclusion and supporting mental health
- Experience of working with vulnerable or challenging young people, ideally in an educational or care setting
- Emotional resilience, patience, and creativity in your approach to learning and behaviour support
