Responsibilities of an SEMH Teacher:
- Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles, providing personalised support to each student.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to devise comprehensive intervention plans.
- Continuously monitor and assess student progress, offering timely feedback to students and their families.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Specialised training or experience in SEMH education.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of students facing SEMH challenges.
