We are working with a SEMH school based in North London who are seeking an experienced teacher who is resilient and hard working. It is important that the successful candidate has an understanding of mental health and teaching neurodiverse children.
Main Duties:
- To plan lessons and teach across secondary
- Responsibility for tracking pupil progress and monitoring to support teaching and learning
- Deliver dynamic and creative lessons
- Built positive relationships with students, parents and carers
- Experience supporting students with challenging behaviour and social, emotional and mental health
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Unqualified and proven experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong sense of empathy, patience, and resilience, with the ability to remain calm and focused in challenging situations
