Are you a qualified teacher with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)?
Parker Smith Inclusion is working with a wonderful primary school in Epping Forest that is seeking a Primary Teacher for their autism provision (ARP). In this role, you will lead a small class of pupils, supported by two SEND teaching assistants, delivering play-based and activity-based learning tailored to meet each child’s individual needs.
The school is well-resourced and provides a supportive environment, with a headteacher who values staff wellbeing and ensures every member of the team has the guidance and support they need. It is a friendly, welcoming school that truly feels like a family.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading a class within the school’s autism provision (ARP) for pupils aged 4–11
- Working closely with two experienced SEND teaching assistants to support pupils’ learning and development
- Delivering lessons using play-based and activity-based approaches, adapted to meet the needs of your pupils
- Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and expertise
