Could you be the positive role model a young person needs?
Parker Smith Inclusion is working with a SEMH specialist school in Enfield to find compassionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistants to join them this September. This is an opportunity to support young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, helping them rebuild confidence, develop positive relationships and re-engage with learning..
The school is a specialist provision for pupils aged 5–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and Autism. The school takes an attachment-aware, trauma-informed approach, recognising that positive relationships, emotional security and consistency are the foundations for learning. Every interaction is seen as an opportunity to build trust, develop resilience and help pupils feel safe enough to succeed.
You'll be joining a highly supportive team where therapeutic practice is woven into everyday school life. Working alongside teachers, therapists and pastoral staff, you'll help create a calm, nurturing environment that empowers pupils to overcome barriers, regulate their emotions and re-engage with education.
