We're working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to support two pupils on a 1:1 basis within a mainstream setting.
The school has a strong commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and positive behaviour, creating a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to achieve both academically and personally. You'll join a supportive team that works collaboratively to help pupils build confidence, resilience and successful learning habits.
Your role:
✅ Provide dedicated 1:1 support for two pupils with SEMH needs
✅ Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
✅ Help pupils re-engage with learning and classroom activities
✅ Build positive relationships through consistency and encouragement
✅ Work closely with teachers, the SEND team and wider professionals
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Has experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour
✔ Is calm, resilient and adaptable
✔ Builds positive relationships and understands behaviour as communication
✔ Is passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential
✔ Wants to develop a long-term career within SEND education
