SEMH Teaching Assistant role;
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will be supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health. The school is passionate about supporting every one of its students through a trauma-informed approach. This role might take you out of your comfort zone due to the school being challenging when it comes to the behaviour of the students, however, it can also be a very rewarding environment to work in.
The school are seeking an experienced and passionate 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to be supporting a male student in year 9/10 who is highly vulnerable and has been out of education for nearly 4 years. They are looking for someone who can understand and support his needs and someone who help him academically, he is working at a few years below his peers.

- Experience or knowledge of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

- The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant can adjust to and overcome challenges whilst following appropriate protocol.
